April 20, 2010 / Tyree Named Gulf Oil’s Preferred Maintenance Vendor Deal Provides Cost‐Savings for Tank & Vac Truck Services

Farmingdale, NY – April 20, 2010 – Tyree Corporation, one of the largest petroleum and environmental remediation service companies in the U.S., today announced that Gulf Oil, L.P. has chosen the company as Gulf’s Preferred Maintenance Equipment Vendor.

The deal, currently in effect, extends cost‐savings to Gulf service stations throughout the mid‐ Atlantic and Northeast, while increasing the number of potential Tyree‐serviced Gulf petroleum stations to 1,400.

“The Gulf Preferred Vendor program was designed to provide a single site retailer the service and cost advantages enjoyed by the large retail chains,” said Richard Oswald, CEO of Tyree. “We are proud to be selected by Gulf to provide outstanding service and cost‐savings to their expanding number of service stations,” continued Oswald.

Gulf recently acquired all rights, title and interest to the Gulf brand in the U.S. from Chevron and is planning to execute a significant geographic brand expansion initiative across the Mid‐ Atlantic states, including Florida.

“After looking at the available vendors in the category, we believed that Tyree Corporation provided the best value based on their expertise and customer service,” said Ron Sabia, President and Chief Operating Officer for Gulf Oil.
